Matthew Pace, the managing director, operated Summer Nights Pizzeria & Cafeteria between 2001 and 2007, and subsequently between 2007 and 2016 under the new brand 47 Summer Nights Pizza & Pasta. Now, encapsulating the character and vast experiences behind both establishments, and dramatically enhancing cuisine variety and efficiency with executive chef Antoine Bugeja on board, with his culinary expertise and dedication, we have rebranded to Uncle Matt’s Kitchen, as from the 4th of March 2016.
In doing so, Uncle Matt’s Kitchen was transferred and extended to an adjacent location, with a far more spacious open kitchen, to provide maximum efficiency and prompt customer service whilst serving our vast customer base 365 days a year from 10:00 to 23:00.
Uncle Matt’s Kitchen can now host almost 500 customers, as well as offers an efficient home deliver service, focusing on the southern region of Malta.
We have maintained the many highlights we were previously known for mainly being the central location in the heart of Marsascala, and the safe playgrounds.
The span of establishments numbering 45 to 52 Marina Street has become synonymous amongst enthusiastic sports lovers as one of the only sites in Malta where one can enjoy watching the football on almost 20 flat screen TVs, and up to three big screens on key sports nights, one of which measures up to 20 square metres in size.
The venue is the perfect place for seaside alfresco dining, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Chef Antoine Bugeja makes the most of his 20-year culinary experience, the majority of which were in three top local hotels, to make sure each and every customer is served with the perfect hearty dish.
The menu includes a choice of many areas, covering homemade burgers to fresh pasta, as well as steaks, fish dishes, and signature pizzas.
